WebSocket là full-duplex nhưng thừa nhu cầu và cần nâng cấp giao thức (Upgrade) mà nhiều proxy cũ chặn; short polling 200ms tạo tải và overhead header khổng lồ cho dữ liệu chỉ đổi mỗi 1-2 giây; gRPC dựa trên HTTP/2 không gọi trực tiếp được từ trình duyệt mà cần gRPC-Web kèm proxy chuyển đổi.
